Cabo Recreation

Whether you love the surf, sun, or sand there are plenty of fun recreation options for your vacation in Cabo San Lucas. We’ve been to Cabo many times and have done almost everything listed on this page. In most cases these are personal recommendations of the activities and companies. We were most recently in Cabo for vacation in early 2016 so this list is up to date.

Deep Sea Fishing Cabo San Lucas

If you are headed to Cabo and would like to fish for marlin, wahoo, & tuna, you need to go with Indigo Adventures. Colin who is an American living in Baja runs fishing charters out of San Jose del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas, and La Paz. We’ve personally used Colin for a couple of trips and he and his crew are great. If you’re looking for a spearfishing trip in Baja, give Colin a call and he runsĀ one of the best deep sea fishing charters in Cabo. For more information: http://www.indigoadventures.com/

Wave runners & Parasailing

Do you want to do a wave runner tour, or do some parasailing over the Cabo arch and in the bay? Over the years we have had good luck with Baja Watersports. We’ve done wave runners and parasailing. The wave runners have changed over the years, and in 2016 it changed to doing a tour out of the bay and into the Pacific Ocean. It’s different than in past years but it is still a lot of fun. Parasailing is fun unless you’re scared of heights! For more information: http://www.bajaswatersports.com/

Cabo Snorkeling

Do you want to do a snorkeling cruise to Chileno Bay in Cabo? You’ll swim with colorful fish in the calm yet clear water of Chileno Bay. While the snorkeling isn’t quite as good as Hawaii, it is still pretty fun and let’s be honest, spending a few hours on the water is a great way to spend a day. We’ve had a great time on the Buccaneer Queen and highly recommend their snorkeling expedition. For more information: http://buccaneerloscabos.com/boat.html

Sunset Dinner Cruises

Do you need a great activity for the family? Try a Sunset dinner cruise that starts in the Cabo bay, goes by the famous arch, and goes out into the Pacific Ocean for the sunset. Most of the dinner cruises we’ve been on have pretty good food, usually consisting of grilled beef and chicken fajitas, and unlimited drinks (beer & margaritas). One of the best we’ve ever been on is the SunRider. Not only do they have great accommodations, they also treat you to entertainment before you get back to the harbor. They also have clean restrooms onboard. For more information: http://sunridertours.com/
